BCSE 2018 – Main Examination Result

The Royal Civil Service Commission would like to announce the result of the Bhutan Civil Service Examination 2018 – Main Examination.

 

A total of 1,947 graduates have appeared the Main Examination of the BCSE 2018.

 

Pema Euden with B.Sc. (Mathematics) from The University of Texas at El Paso, USA topped the General Category with 73.05%. Sonam Tshomo with B.A. Honours (Insurance & Banking) from Amity University, India came second with 71.69% and Jigme Wangmo with B.Tech. (Construction Management), Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia stood third with 69.26%.

 

Tshering Tobgay who studied B.A. Honours (Language & Literature) from Institute of Language & Cultural Studies topped the Dzongkha Category with 75.14% while Sangay Om with B.A. (Dzongkha & History) from Sherubtse College came second with 73.05% and Karma Zangmo with B.A. (Language & Literature) from Institute of Language & Cultural Studies stood third with 72.42%.

 

In Technical Category, Ugyen Wangmo, B.Sc. Honours in Horticulture graduate from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Science, India obtained highest score with 75.74% followed by Sangay Dendup, B.Sc. Traditional Medicine graduate from National Institute of Traditional Medicine with 74.59% and Pem Zam, B.Sc. Honours in Forestry graduate from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Science, India with third highest score with 74.43%.

 

Phub Lhamo topped the B.Ed. Dzongkha Category with 69.4% while Tashi Bumjay came second with 68.54% and Sherab Tenzin stood third with 67.88%. All three graduates have completed B.Ed. Dzongkha from Paro College of Education.

 

Sonam Nima topped the B.Ed. General Category with 75.83% while Zangpo came second with 74.97% and Tshering Bidha stood third with 74.82%. All three graduates have completed B.Ed. Primary from Paro College of Education.
