  • Reach the Examination/Viva Voce centre at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time;
  • Be in the formal attire;
  • Be allowed to enter the examination only on production of the e-Admit Card;
  • Allow frisking/checking at the entry point of the exam hall as well as after completing the examination;
  • Not bring any article, electronic devices, document or written material of any form inside the hall, except the e-admit Card, ink, pen, pencil, eraser, and non-programmable calculator (fx 100 and below) (if required);
  • Conform his behavior to the Civil Service Values and Conduct prescribed under the BCSR;
  • Not be under the influence of intoxicants/alcohol in and around the examination premises;
  • Not canvass for getting favor in the examination in any manner;
  • Not talk, consult, whisper, smoke, eat or indulge in any unacceptable behavior in the examination hall;
  • Not give or leave any identification marks on the written answer sheet(s) other than the allotted registration number.
  • Result in the debarring of the candidate from the present as well as future BCSE for non-compliance to the above rules.
  • Be liable for disciplinary/legal action by the RCSC as per Section 5.6.6 of BCSR 2023.
