The Secretary of the Ministry of Health Dasho (Dr) Gado Tshering graced the opening ceremony of the Executive Seminar on Strategic Management  while Dasho Megraj Gurung, member of the Board of Directors of RIM awarded the certificates at the closing ceremony. Professor Deborah Blackman of the University of Canberra, Australia was the resource speaker. More than 20 Directors and Dzongdags from the Civil Service, Managing Directors from the Corporate Sector and officials from the Armed Forces attended the Seminar on 30th September 2008 at the RIM.
