In keeping with the Royal Command received by the Commission, requirements of the Civil Service Act of Bhutan 2010 (Section 88), and as per the provisions of BCSR 2012, Chapter 22 on the Civil Service Award, the RCSC is now ready to institutionalize the Civil Service Awards, which would constitute award of medals of different categories along with a Certificate each. Therefore, all the Agencies are required to submit the list Of eligible civil servants of their respective Agency to the RCSC latest by 1st July, 2013 in accordance with Section 22.4.1. Of the BCSR 2012.

The nominations are to be made available in the formats annexed here with as follows:

A. Dedicated Service Award
The Agencies are required to submit the list of awardees in the following three categories in the format prescribed below:

1. 10 years or more service but less than 20 years (Form 1)
2. 20years or more service but less than 30 years (Form 2)
3. 30years or more service (Form 3)

B. Lifetime Service Award
The Agencies are required to submit the list of civil servants who have been superannuated after 20th May, 2011, which was the day His Majesty had granted Royal Assent to the Civil Service Act, to till date and those who will be superannuated by 30th June, 2013, as per Form 4 annexed.
