Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Post Graduate Scholarship (2019 intake)

The Royal Civil Service Commission is pleased to announce the availability of up to ten Masters Scholarships for the International students under the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) in Bangkok, Thailand for the academic year 2019 as detailed below.

A. Fields of study

a. Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health

b. Environmental Toxicology

c. Chemical Biology

B. CGI Eligibility

  • Scholarship is open to all applicants who is under 30 years of age and holds a Bachelor’s

 

Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 in one of the following fields:

# Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences.

# Medical Sciences:  Medicine,  Medical  Technology

# Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

 

Applicant from other related fields are also welcome to apply.

#   Have experience in scientific laboratory research

#   Applicants must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of the two recognized test of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)

#  Applicants must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study

C. Other eligibility criteria

In addition to the above criteria, the following criteria must be met:

  • Civil servants applying for the above-mentioned programs must fulfill all relevant criteria prescribed in BCSR 2018.
  • Applicants outside civil service (Corporate, and Private Sector, NGO, etc) must fulfill all relevant criteria prescribed by the Department of Human Resources, MoLHR.

Note: Please ensure (with respective agency or RCSC/MoLHR) your eligibility for study leave before applying for the scholarship.

 

D. CGI Scholarship Coverage

The scholarship will cover the following:

#  tuition and other academic fees

#  round trip airfare

#  accommodation

#  monthly stipend

#  book allowance, health insurance and others.

E. Application Procedure

# Applicants should complete the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Post – graduate Scholarship Program’s application form and submit together with other supporting documents through the following channel:

Step 2: After step (1) is completed, send all the original documents via postal services to the address as stated in (1).

#  The deadline to submit the duly completed application form and medical form along with the supporting documents to the CGI is on or before 05th September 2018.

#  The selection of the applicants will be based on merit and successful applicants will be notified by the CGI, Thailand around February 2018.

#  Civil servants who get the scholarship should submit the study leave proposal to their respective parent agency and process through CSIS for approval

 

Note: No consideration will be given to application with incomplete supporting documents.
