Oath taking ceremony for BCSE candidates- December 31, 2019

The Oath taking ceremony for graduates, who have been selected through Bhutan Civil Service Examination and being appointed in the Civil Service effective from 1st January, 2020 was held in Tashichho Dzong on 31st December, 2019.

The ceremony was presided over by Ven. Tshogi Lopen of the Zhung Dratsang and attended by Chairperson, Commissioners, and Officials of the RCSC Secretariat.

A total of 842 graduates received their Appointment Orders for placement in the Professional and Management Category in the Civil Service.

There were exactly the same numbers of female and male graduates joining the Professional and Management Category in the Civil Service in 2020, with 421 candidates each.

The statistics are as follows:

  • BCSE 2018: Post Graduate Diploma in Education – 189
  • BCSE 2018: Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management – 30
  • BCSE 2018: Post Graduate Diploma in National Law – 10
  • BCSE 2018: Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration – 40
  • BCSE 2019: B.Ed. Graduates – 384
  • BCSE 2019: Dzongkha Category Graduates – 4
  • BCSE 2019: Technical Category Graduates – 185
